Boone REMC is now Boone Power. We've rebranded, but we’re still the same local electric cooperative delivering safe, reliable electricity to Greater Boone County.

Welcome to Boone Power!

When you signed up for electric service with Boone Power (formerly Boone REMC), you became a member of a cooperative. Learn more about the benefits of cooperative membership below.

Boone Power, Indiana’s first electric distribution co-op, is locally owned and operated and guided by the Seven Cooperative Principles.

You are more than a customer; you are an owner. Boone Power is governed by a nine-member board of directors. Each of our directors is a member of the cooperative, just like you. Each year, every member can participate in our board director election.

The power is in your hands
