Boone REMC is now Boone Power. We've rebranded, but we’re still the same local electric cooperative delivering safe, reliable electricity to Greater Boone County.

The first step in the new construction process is to apply for construction electric service. If you are building a new home or business in Boone Power's service territory where there is not yet electric service, and you need to get power at the location, the first step is completing the Construction Service Application.
To confirm your location is in Boone Power's service territory, check the Electric Provider Map. Please note that we rebranded; we were previously Boone REMC, so any locations marked Boone REMC are Boone Power's service territory.
Contribution in Aid to Construction
Boone Power may require that a financial contribution be made by a member or developer to help cover the cost of extending or upgrading electric service infrastructure. The aid ensures that the cooperative remains financially sustainable while expanding service. The details about our contribution-in-aid-of-construction policy can be found below.
