Member Ambassadors

As a member-owned cooperative, we want to hear from and engage with those we serve. Our members’ ideas and feedback are important to us, and that why we host educational event three times each year on topics related to the electric industry or Boone Power programs and services.

Previously known as Member Advisory Committee (MAC) meetings, these events have evolved over the past few years into opportunities to connect, educate, and share important updates with members. With that evolution, we’re excited to announce a new name that better reflects the role of this group but keeps the commonly used “MAC” acronym: Member Ambassadors of the Cooperative.

By attending these events, you become a Boone Power Ambassador as you learn more about your electric co-op. You can help us tell our story by staying informed about projects, programs, and industry trends and sharing what you learn with your co-op members.

Upcoming Events

Boone Power will host its next Member Ambassadors of the Cooperative event on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Lebanon Public Library (Crawford Meeting Room). The evening will include light refreshments beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by a presentation at 6 p.m., and hands-on support for SmartHub, our member-facing account management tool available via web and mobile app. Members will learn how to view/pay bills, track energy use, set alerts, and report service issues. Staff will also be available for one-on-one assistance, so plan to bring your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. This MAC gathering continues our effort to build stronger engagement with members by providing educational opportunities and direct interaction with cooperative staff.
