How to Enroll in Paperless Billing
SmartHub is a tool that allows you to manage your Boone Power account and notifications, and stay connected with your electric cooperative. You can pay your bill, check your electricity usage, report an outage, update your account information, and more! SmartHub can be used on the web or via a mobile app. You need a SmartHub account to enroll in paperless billing. If you don’t yet have a log-in, follow the instructions below for setting up a SmartHub account either via the web or mobile app.

Mobile App Instructions
- Download the SmartHub app from your mobile device’s app store.
- Open the app and search for Boone REMC/Boone Power by name.
- Tap “Don’t have an account? Register now.”
- Enter the required information and follow the prompts to finish setting up your account.
- Once you’re logged into the app, tap on “More” at the bottom right. Then choose “Settings.”
- Tap “Paperless Billing” and confirm your enrollment.
- Go back to More –> Settings and choose “Manage Notifications”.
- Review and update these settings to ensure you are receiving text messages and emails for the various notifications from Boone Power.
Web Instructions
- Visit https://bremc.smarthub.coop/Login.html.
- Click “Sign up to access our Self Service site”.
- Enter the required information and follow the prompts to finish setting up your account.
- Once you’re logged into SmartHub, click on “Settings” in the menu on the left side of the screen. Then select “Paperless Billing”.
- Change the toggle on the right to display “On” to indicate you’d like to go paperless.
- From the same “Settings” menu, choose “Manage Notifications”.
- Review and update these settings to ensure you are receiving text messages and emails for the various notifications from Boone Power.
