Prepaid Billing

Beginning, Sept. 1, 2026, Boone Power will offer prepaid billing.

Prepaid billing can help members set up or reconnect electric service without the burden of a large deposit, while giving them more control over their account and energy budget.

Take Control of Your Energy Budget

Prepaid Billing gives you more flexibility over how you pay for electricity. Instead of receiving a monthly bill after you've used energy, you pay ahead and watch your balance as electricity is used.

It's a simple way to avoid a large security deposit, monitor your energy use, and make payments whenever it's convenient for you. Beginning Sept. 1, 2026, you may enroll in this offering.
