At Boone REMC, we believe in empowering the next generation. That’s why we’re committed to investing in our local youth through exciting programs and scholarships designed to inspire, educate, and support their growth. Whether it’s a trip to the Indiana Statehouse, an unforgettable camp experience, or a scholarship for higher education, Boone REMC is proud to offer opportunities that make a difference.
Here’s a closer look at the youth programs we’re offering in 2025:
- Camp Kilowatt
Dates: June 4–7, 2025 | Deadline: March 3, 2025
A summer camp offering outdoor fun and education on electric safety and co-op careers.
- Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.
Dates: June 15–22, 2025 | Deadline: March 3, 2025
An all-expenses-paid trip for high school juniors to explore D.C. and meet lawmakers.
- Cooperative Calendar of Student Art
Deadline: February 28, 2025
A statewide art contest for K–12 students with cash prizes and calendar recognition.
- Annual Meeting Scholarships
Date: April 24, 2025 | Deadline: April 22, 2025
Ten $1,000 scholarships awarded to Boone REMC member dependents during the annual meeting.
