Boone REMC is now Boone Power. We've rebranded, but we’re still the same local electric cooperative delivering safe, reliable electricity to Greater Boone County.
Setting Up AutoPay

With AutoPay, you can set your bill payment to be automatically withdrawn each month from your checking, savings, or credit card accounts. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and debit cards are accepted, and this service is available to any member, including those enrolled in a budget billing plan, at no additional charge. The account being drafted must be in the Boone Power account holder’s name.
The enrollment process into our AutoPay program may take up to two billing cycles to complete. Once you are enrolled in AutoPay, you will receive a bill each month (sign up for paperless billing from the Settings in SmartHub) that states, “Bank draft, do not pay,” or “Credit card payment, do not pay.” Payments will be drawn one to three days prior to the due date of your electric bill.
Electronic payments that cannot be processed for any reason are subject to the same return item fees as regular payments. If you have any questions about autopay, contact Boone Power at 800-897-7362, or send an email to [email protected].
Please be aware that you will NOT receive a courtesy call for declined AutoPay; we advise you check your billing statements monthly as notices are printed on the statements when an AutoPay method is declined. You can also set up various text and email notifications from the Settings tab in SmartHub.
