Boone Power offers members three months of using the device at their location for no charge. Interested members can set up a 90-minute appointment to have a Boone REMC energy advisor install the monitor.
Members who wish to have a Sense monitor installed must have Wi-Fi and be able to provide the Wi-Fi password at the time of the monitor installation appointment. The member also must have a smartphone to set up the device using Bluetooth and download the Sense app.
If a member desires to keep using the monitor after three months, the account will be billed $25 per month. If, after six months, you’d like to continue using the Sense monitor, it can be purchased for an additional $300.
